Children's Sunday School

 

Children’s Sunday school is broken into
Preschool and Elementary

 

 

Preschool Sunday school exists to introduce preschool children to Jesus for the first time and/or to encourage them weekly in their knowledge and love of Him.

 

Preschool Sunday school is for children two years old through four years old. This class offers children a weekly opportunity to know that God is who He says He is and that He sent His Son for them because of His love for them.

 

The key people involved in Preschool Sunday school
            for the 9:45 class are:

        2 year olds:  Ann DeMarco – Shepherd

                                   LuAnne Hershey- Assistant Shepherd

 

        3 & 4 year olds:  Ricki Fackler – Shepherd

                                           Danielle Klopp–Assistant Shepherd

                                           Megan Spinney- Assistant Shepherd

 

                   for the 11:00 class are:

 

        2 year olds:  Tish Bittinger – Shepherd

                                     Pat Cook – Assistant Shepherd

 

This ministry is in need of:

        -a helper for the preschool class during the 11:00 service (every other month)

        -2 helpers for the preschool class during the 8:30 service

        - Goldfish and Animal Crackers

 

Elementary Sunday school is designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade to have a weekly opportunity to meet Jesus for the first time or to continue to deepen their relationship with Jesus through Bible learning, worship and relationship building.

 

Elementary Sunday school offers children an opportunity to gather weekly with each other and adults who care about them and their relationship with Jesus. Each Sunday the kids enjoy a time of interactive Bible teaching and worship as a large group and then two sessions where children are in small groups according to their grade level with an adult shepherd who encourages them to apply what they learned to their lives.

-       Snack items such as cookies or individualized packages of snacks
