Women’s Ministry exists to fill the needs of women in the church and in the community, while offering the opportunity to serve the Lord for His glory and to build relationships through service, encouragement, mentoring, and prayer.

Women’s Ministry meetings are the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

We always need committed women to serve on the team in whatever capacity they feel led.

Some of the people we need are volunteers to cook meals when needed, volunteers to bake cookies and perhaps deliver them to our visitors.

Some of the consistent activities that Women’s ministry sponsors are:

Ø Ladies Night Out. (next one to be announced)

Ø Christmas Luncheon- 1/10/08

Ø Mother Daughter Luncheon- 5/02/09

Ø Ladies’ Retreat- October 2009

We have quite a few other projects we work on throughout the year

Ø Cookie ministry

Ø Meals ministry

Ø Organization of the women’s’ Bible studies (not necessarily leading them just keeping them organized and promoted, and we help with getting them established if needed.)

Ø Patti Gesswein (Bible Studies)

Ø Linda Heater, Cathy Kushner, Janette Medvidovich, Karen Smith, Ann Snyder (meals).

We are a very active team. We work on lots of projects throughout the year, but maybe more important than that projects we do are the relationships we build in the process.
