This ministry is one of tutoring selected children at Lawnton Elementary School on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 4:00 p.m. and going until 5:00 p.m.

The purpose of this ministry:

1) to help those children who need extra assistance in school;

2) to develop relationships between the school and the church.

Tutors that are currently helping with this ministry are Carolyn Aiken, Tish Bittinger, Deb Chronister, Michelle Corsnitz, Darren Decker, September Harkins, Joel Medvidovich, Jim Sweetheimer and Kim Wacome.

The main responsibility is to be at Lawnton Elementary School on the day they are scheduled to tutor and to help the teacher with whatever needs to be done to help the child.

A dinner honoring the teachers from Lawnton and the tutors will be held on March 10, 2009 in our Worship Center.
