Description of ministry: A small group that meets every other week to pray, enjoy fellowship, games, and food and study biblical truths about current teen issues.

Purpose of this ministry: To provide our high school girls with a safe place to share the challenges of being a teenager and connect girls in friendship as sisters in Christ. To pray, study, and grow together as young women.

Any needs this ministry might have: Lots of prayer! We are also very interested in any book suggestions that would make good studies for our group. In addition, if there are any ladies in the church that would be interested in sharing their testimony or lessons they learned as a teen we would love to have some “guest speakers” visit our group and impart some wisdom.

Anything your ministry is focusing on anything during the season you would like to be spot-lighted: We are currently studying the book “Lies Young Women Believe and the truth that sets them free” by Nancy Leigh Demoss and Danna Gresh. We just got back from a powerful weekend at Camp Orchard Hill where we were challenged to set standards in our dating lives and focus on friendships with the opposite sex before we focus on dating. We were also challenged to love and forgive the people in our group and grow together as sisters in Christ.

Key people involved and responsibilities: Raya Barreca- responsible to lead group and teach lessons. High school girls- responsible to come, participate, and grow in their faith and love for our Savior!

Anything else that you would like to add: Our group is always open to any high school girls! All girls in 9^th-12^th grade are welcome.
