This ministry involves intercessory prayer offered for those individuals in the church or community who are ill or are experiencing other stressful times in their lives. It also can be a means of offering up our thanksgiving and praise to our Great and Powerful Lord.

Ephesians 6:18
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

The purpose of this ministry is to pray for the Pastors, Elders, Staff and all ministries within the church. We also pray for all those who have requested individual prayer either for themselves or others both within and outside of our congregation.  We also pray for all government officials and the moral issues facing our nation today.

Our goal is to honor God by being obedient to His Word in:

2 Chronicles 7:14
“If My people, who are called my My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

We need help in knowing the prayer needs and in knowing when it is time to give thanks and rejoice. We desire to mourn when you mourn and rejoice when you rejoice.

Romans 12:15
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Marian Brunson and Jean Morgan are the coordinators of this ministry.  So far there are 14 ladies who have committed to praying each week.  

In addition to praying, cards and notes are sent to those who have been on the prayer list for several weeks.

Romans 8:26-27

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.
