The Elders are putting together an Advisory team to assist and advise them in the coming months.
The Pastoral Search committee and Elders are in the process of creating a short list of pastoral candidates. Once a single candidate has been agreed upon by the Elders, the search committee and the Elders will go through an interview, conversation, and visit process with the candidate before inviting them to preach a Sunday and meet the congregation. After the candidate has gone through this process a vote will go before the congregation to affirm hiring the candidate.
The Elders will be hiring an interim pastor to fill in at the pulpit and in other areas of ministry.
The Elders request prayer in the coming months as they continue moving forward and working to help the church body heal.
January 29, 2012 a membership class is being held after the service. Please contact the Elders so they can prepare enough information packets and food.
